Michael J. Speranzo, CIC is the Agency Principal. Mike has over 24 years experience in the insurance industry and earned the prestigious Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation

Mike began his insurance career in 1990 as a Multi-line Claims adjuster with Erie Insurance. In this position Mike determined liability for Home, Auto and Commercial claims. Mike also estimated damages to insured buildings and homes as well as negotiated Injury claim on behalf of the company and their insureds.

In 1997, Mike transitioned into an Adjuster/Appraiser role for Progressive Insurance where his job responsibilities were determining liability for personal and commercial auto claims. He also became a PA state certified Physical Damage Appraiser, allowing him to estimate damages for Autos, Motorcycles, Boats, Commercial Vehicles and Motor Homes. Mikes responsibilities also included negotiating injury claims for the company and their insureds.

In 2005, Mike returned to Erie Insurance as a Liability Specialist and was then promoted in 2007 to District Sales Manager.

As a District Sales Manager, Mike was responsible for the management and training of 35 agencies for Erie Insurance throughout North-Eastern Pennsylvania. Some of his Job responsibilities were to assist his agencies to grow profitably all while maintaining the Erie’s core values and ensuring customer satisfaction.

In July of 2014, Mike purchased Biondi-Franklin Insurance. Since this time he has been providing his customers, old and new, as near perfect protection, with the best possible service at the best possible price.

Mike is a member of the Abington Business and Professional Association and the Scranton Chamber of Commerce and is involved in many volunteer organizations.

Mike lives in South Abington Twp. PA with his family.

Mike is a huge supporter of local Sports and Organizations Including Abington Heights Schools, Scranton High School where his son Michael is a Student and very active in Music and Drama and The Abington Jr. Comets …..Go Comets! Mike has also been very active in coaching local sports throughout the years.

Diane Dobrinski, Certified Insurance Service Representative, has more than 30 years of responsible insurance experience servicing, underwriting, and selling personal and Commercial insurance.

Diane obtained her Insurance License through the state of Pennsylvania in 1986. In 1999, Diane completed the required courses and examinations to obtain CISR designation from the Society of Certified Insurance Representatives. Diane has been employed by Biondi-Franklin since November, 1985.

Diane resides in Tunkhannock with her Family.

Jessica Franklin, Licensed Insurance Producer, has over 10 years of service experience in the fields of Insurance, Business, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Relations. In 2005, Jessica graduated with a bachelor’s degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Her studies included music, business, marketing and music history.

Jessica has been employed by Biondi-Franklin since 2012. In 2013, Jessica obtained her Property and Casualty Insurance License through the state of Pennsylvania. In addition to servicing, underwriting, and selling personal insurance, Jessica is responsible for the agency’s marketing, social media/online presence, ad creation, and Special Projects Cordination.

Jessica resides in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania with her husband Mike. She is the granddaughter of the agency’s founder, Eugene Biondi, and daughter of the former agency principal, Timothy E Franklin.

Robin Opeil, Licensed Insurance Producer, has over 25 yrs of customer service experience. Prior to joining the Biondi-Franklin team, Robin was the owner of her own business near Forest City Pa. Robin was licensed in insurance by the State of Pa in 2015 and has been servicing, underwriting and Selling Quality products to our customers ever since. Robin is a 1992 Graduate of Forest City Regional High School and holds a degree in Cosmetology from Empire Beauty School. Robin previously owned Robin’s Hair and Nail Studio in Browndale, PA. Currently Robin resides in South Abington, PA with her family.

Rita Lowry, Customer Service Representative, has over 30 years of quality customer service experience. Prior to joining the Biondi- Franklin family she has held multiple positions in the banking industry as well as a sales development position for a National communications company. Rita joined out team in August of 2016 and is working to become licensed in insurance with the State of Pennsylvania. Rita was a 15 year board member of the Forest City regional School District, a 15 year member of the Forest City Business and Professional Women (FCBPW) and was Co-Chair to the Forest City Old Home Week Committee. Rita currently lives in Olyphant, Pa with her husband Bob.
